Rules
All TCGs have rules, and Aesthetic Visions is no different. Please read everything carefully before sending in a join form, and please keep all the rules in mind as you play!
Before you join
Although we do have forums wherein we can keep in touch with one another, you must have a working e-mail address. Some of the activities in this TCG still involve e-mail forms, and not having a working e-mail address will prevent you from participating.
A TCG post is a website wherein you display your card collection, currency, and badges. Your TCG post must be up and running before you send in a form (regardless of whether it is empty or not)! It doesn't have to be anything really fancy; it can simply be a post on your blog, or one page on your personal website. What's important is that you display your cards and have a place for your card/trade log!
I'm sorry, but this is a serious pet peeve that I need to let out of my system. Do not join with names that go up and down, or names with weird symbols/punctuation. Numbers are fine I guess, but don't join with names like "R2D22K8". And please do not type messages/comments that way either.
Once you've joined
After receiving your join application, we will be sending you your starter pack. Starter packs contain 2 cards from your collecting deck, four random normal/puzzle cards, two random special cards, and 70 aviols. As a special promo, prejoiners get twice as many cards and aviols in their starter packs! Members are given 3 weeks to get their starter packs up; otherwise they will be removed from the pending list and will have to reapply.
You must keep a detailed card/trade log! Card/trade logs are basically records of the cards/aviols you receive through playing AV's games and participating in activities. Having a log that simply says "Played some games and earned some cards," is unacceptable. Here is an example of a detailed log, so you can see what I mean by "detailed":

All members must register at the forums! Level up forms, mastery forms, as well as a few other activities are only available at the forum, so be sure to register as soon as you get your starter pack up. Oh, and please register using the same name that you used to register for the TCG to avoid confusion.
I know that a lot of you will be tempted to cheat, but please resist the temptation to do so. I know I don't have the power of omniscience and cannot see if you are cheating or not, but I do trust you not to do so. It's unfair to other members if you cheat, and it's unfair to us staffers who work hard to keep the game fun and balanced for everyone. Should I find proof that you are cheating, you will be removed from the game. Acts that are considered "cheating" include refreshing the games' reward pages until you get cards that you want, not removing cards that you've traded out, and taking cards from the site without permission.
When dealing with your fellow TCG members and the staffers, you must remember to be polite! This is important whether you're responding to or offering a trade, posting/sending a form to claim your rewards, asking questions, or just chatting with anyone in general. Remember that an important (and essential) aspect of TCGs is trading. A simple "please" and "thank you" goes a long way!
If anyone has been rude to you (or to a fellow member), please do not hesitate to use the contact form to report it to us. Minor acts of rudeness will be reprimanded; excessive rudeness will result in being kicked out of the game and being banned from rejoining.
